About

ABOUT US

Tall & Short Theatre Co Incorporated was founded in 2023 by a collective of like-minded people who came together to achieve the common goal of Working together to build a resilient, inclusive and thriving arts community.
Our mission is to build resilience and create opportunities for performers to develop a strong sense of belonging within the arts community. We provide a safe platform for artists who have completed/are completing industry-specific education/training, and for those who love to perform. We are focused on assisting performers further their professional development and bridge the gap before securing their initial professional engagements.
In 2024, we proudly produced the highly acclaimed productions of MAMMA MIA! and Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical at The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre, Sutherland. These productions marked a significant milestone in our journey and showcased our commitment to high-quality theatre. We are proud to be continuing this journey into 2025 with our sold out season of Grease The Musical in February and the current production of Chicago.
We are committed to further promoting and supporting the arts while strengthening diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility. Our dedication to these principles ensures that every member feels welcome, valued and safe.
We are proud to stand with members of all communities in the performing arts. We adopt principles and practices that promote anti racism and diversity. We do this by committing to a minimum of 25% Bla(c)k, Indigenous, People of Colour, gender diverse, neurodiverse, disabled and body diverse artists in our productions and projects.
